Jessica Cohen is licensed to practice law in Washington. Jessica is a Smith College graduate who also graduated from the Seattle University law school with honors. In law school she served as Article Editor of the Seattle Journal for Social Justice and worked in the Arts Legal Clinic assisting artists with intellectual property and business law matters.
Jessica is the author of two published law review articles. The first was published in the Seattle Journal for Social Justice about the federal Good Samaritan Food Donation Act, which limits liability to individuals and companies who donate leftover food. Jessica also co-authored an article with Israeli Professor Alon Tal about the United Nations Convention to Combat Desertification, which was published in the Harvard Environmental Law Review.
Jessica can converse comfortably in Spanish and has a beginning understanding of Hebrew. Her hobbies include hiking, swimming, listening to and playing music, and baking killer desserts. Her favorite clients are artists and musicians.
