VeriTrademark Fee Schedule For 2011

At VeriTrademark^®, we strive for transparency, and our pricing scheme is value-based. That is, we seek to charge a flat fee for our services when practical, and encourage a creative fee arrangement alternative to time-based billing when a flat fee is not practical. Basically, we want to align our interests with yours whenever possible. We also try to frame the issue and the costs involved in advance, so there are no surprises. In the absence of an alternate arrangement, 2011 hourly rates are as follows:

Moreover, because we do not "nickel and dime" you or bill you for time used inefficiently, you can expect your bill to be less than what comparably skilled lawyers would charge in most cases.

We do a mix of transactional work and litigation. We litigate both commercial and intellectual property disputes (including proceedings with the USPTO). Here is a brief overview of common services in table form:

Some of our services require additional filing costs (such as trademark registration, litigation initiation or business formation), and these are not included in our quoted price. Another important thing to note is that there is no way to make an apples to apples comparison with the fees of other lawyers. For example, our operating agreements and trademark registration services include a lot of valuable elements and features that most lawyers who also do these do not provide. So you should still talk to us before choosing another lawyer based on price.
